So I tried to root my HTC Desire Z of 6 months. And it just did not happen. I tried a lot. I guess its because of the firmware update that I got just before HTC sent their 2.3.3 update.
Fast forward to today. The Desire Z is exactly 15 months old. The operating system is now VirtuousROM's Unity.
There was slight problem with the keypad as the space-bar did not get pressed when you tried to press at the extreme left but HTC service center in India replaced it just fine. They took almost a month but hey! the phone is really worth it.
